Swedish company Evolution's games are on several illegal online casino sites in Southeast Asia. This finding is from a Swedish Radio News investigation. Some casinos are linked to money laundering and fraud. Consequently, Evolution risks assisting crime groups by offering games.

The games involved are roulette, baccarat, and black jack. Swedish Radio News have evidence that these games have been used by several illegal online casinos. Most Southeast Asian countries, according to local authorities, have banned gambling.

In late 2023, Thai police seized 34 million Swedish Crowns from two illegal online casino sites. This money was partly sourced through cryptocurrency scams targeting elderly Thai people. The site owners are suspected of illegal gambling, fraud, and money laundering. Investigations showed the sites featured Evolution's games.

Fifty other Cambodian casino sites featuring Evolution's games were uncovered. A casino site in the Philippines also featured Evolution's games. Gambling isn't illegal in the Philippines. But, the specific casino lost its license last autumn due to suspected cryptocurrency fraud.

Thai authorities are calling for Evolution to be more responsible with their product. Experts told Swedish Radio News that the company could be aiding the criminal organizations that run these sites.

Swedish Radio News wasn't permitted to interview Evolution. However, Evolution stated that none of the mentioned sites were their customers. They also noted that they vet their clients and their clients' customers, considering the potential long supply chain.
